About Me

I've been writing SF, horror and urban magic short stories since 2006, balancing storytelling with high school and university studies in Urban and Regional Planning completed in 2016.

Born in 1991 in Johannesburg, South Africa, I was first professionally published by the seminal South African Horror and Science Fiction Quarterly: Something Wicked, that carried several of my short stories. In 2012 I attended the Young Gunns science fiction short-story writing course at the University of Kansas' Center for the study of Science Fiction.

In 2013, I released Idea War Volume 1, with independent publishing house Wordsmack, with volumes 2 and 3 launched digitally the following year. After Wordsmack closed doors in 2015, I self-published a physical print of Idea War 1 and hope to take the quartet to completion in this medium. Idea War 1 has subsequently been chosen as the Grade 8 setwork for Sutherland High School for 2016 and 2017.

I also published a collection of short stories in 2016 with Sera Blue Publishing. The anthology is titled Relative Scale and was launched at the 2016 rAge Gaming and geek lifestyle convention.

I believe that a society that has forgotten how to dream is not a society that will survive very long in the zombie apocalypse.
